Stevenage Cycling Hub

Stall Location 1

A community led hub of cycling activities situated in the Fairlands Valley Park, Stevenage. We offer Training & cycling activities, refurbished cycle sales and repairs, essential supplies, advice and information, bike hire and our new Fairlands Cycling club (ages 6-14).

British Cycling Breeze

Stall Location 2

British cycling offer Community Rides which include Breeze rides which are rides specifically for women led by women volunteers who are all trained ride leaders. There are rides for all levels and all rides are set at the pace of the slowest rider - no one gets left behind.

There are also Guided Rides which are for everyone to attend and again there are all levels of rides which always go at the pace of the slowest rider.

Beryl Bikes

Stall Location 3

Beryl operates an e-bike share scheme in partnership with Stevenage Borough Council. The e-bikes can be accessed via the Beryl app and are available to hire from 45 'Beryl bays' across the borough. They're a fun, flexible, cost-effective and sustainable way to make short journeys and contribute towards reducing congestion, getting people fitter and improving air quality.

Hertfordshire Cycling Walking and Wheeling

Stall Location 4

Hertfordshire cycling, walking and wheeling work with schools, clubs, businesses and cyclists of all abilities to encourage active and safer travel around Hertfordshire.

We will have an assortment of cycles for you to come and try along with local information.

Hertfordshire Disability Sports Foundation

Stall Location 5

Herts Disability Sports Foundation is proud to promote the development of disability sport in Hertfordshire.

We provide a wide variety of sports activities for people with a disability and pride ourselves on being able to adapt activities to suit the needs of the participants.

We will be bringing a selection of our adaptive cycles for people to come along and try.

Invis-ability

Invis-Ability CIC are a local non-profit peer-lead organisation dedicated to helping the disabled community from support and sign posting to checking accessibility of local places, activities. We work with you to understand the similarities and how we can all work together.

Cycling UK Stevenage

Stall Location 7

We are the local group of the national Cycling UK organisation. Our led rides include ABC rides for beginners along with half-day, evening, and all-day rides for more experienced cyclists. We run various special cycling events and social activities throughout the year. We run Stevenage Cycle Campaigns and Hitchin Cycle Campaigns as part of the Cycling UK Cycle Advocacy Network.

Helping Herts

Stall Location 8

Helping Herts brings together 12 remarkable local charities united by a common goal: to improve the lives of our children and young people. On the 27th April join The Great Cycle for Herts and take part in a bike ride to raise money for Helping Herts and its 12 partner charities. We have a variety of routes to choose from and you can either download the map and enjoy the bike ride in your own time, or join an organised event.

Everyone Active

We are leisure providers, situated in the Stevenage Arts and Leisure Centre, Swimming and Golf centre and the Ridlins athletic track. As the name suggests, our aim is to help the community to be more active to improve their mental and physical health through a variety of exercise sessions in our centres and the community.

Police Cycle Marking

Stall Location 10

Your Local Neighbourhood Policing Team will be holding a bike marking event for the duration of the cycling festival. Please come along to this popular event. Local officers will enter your bike details on the national BikeRegister system and security mark it for free!

Not only acting as a deterrent to possible theft, if your bike is lost or stolen it will greatly increase the chances of getting it back to you.

We will also be offering crime prevention advice and happy to listen to your concerns or thoughts about what you feel police should be focusing on in our area.

Disco Bike

If music is your thing, join our bike DJ and pedal to the music, on our disco bike.

Badge Making Bike

Stall Location 12

Spend a little time to create your own design on paper and then pedal a custom made bike to turn your masterpiece into a badge for you to keep and wear.

Decathlon

Stall Location 13

Your local sports hub with 70+ sports under one roof, right inside Asda! Visit our stall at the Cycling Festival for a FREE bike safety check and grab exclusive discount vouchers for future repairs and gear. We're here to keep you rolling!

Also bring your old bikes as we will be offering our BuyBack Service from the Stall for any brand bike not just our own. (Bike has to be in a reasonable condition and payment will be made with a Decathlon Gift Card).

Landmark

Stall Location 14

Landmark are a Hertfordshire-based wayfinding company, curating an arts and heritage trail in Stevenage, to celebrate the town’s rich heritage and public art, whilst encouraging walking, wheeling, and cycling.

Bikeability Trust

Equipping more than five million children with the skills and confidence to cycle on today's roads.

We don't have a stall as such, but both Hertfordshire Cycling Walking and Wheeling and Stevenage Cycling Hub offer Bikeability Training.

Healthy Hub

The Healthy Hub is situated within the Stevenage Arts and Leisure Centre and is a one-stop-shop for the community to access support and signposting for a variety of reasons including mental health support, physical activity, weight loss and health tests. We run a Menopause Support Group, The Men's Club, Dementia Café, Music Café and a Bereavement Café.
