In partnership with the Stevenage Cycling Hub and Hertfordshire Sports Partnership. Funded by British Cycling and Hertfordshire County Council.
The Stevenage Sofa to Saddle programme is a 6-week learn to ride programme for adults (aged 18 years and over).
This programme is suited to those individuals who are new to riding a bike or lack confidence in their cycling skills.
The aim of the 6-week course is to provide participants with the skills and confidence required to join a local recreational cycling group or cycle independently for leisure or travel.
There will be two separate courses for those identifying as female and those identifying as male, offering a welcoming and supportive learning environment for all to enjoy.
Participants do not need to own their own bike or helmet as these can be hired free of charge from the Stevenage Cycle Hub for each session. If they do own a bike then they will be welcome to bring it along.
